Our Story
Rosa Cares was shaped by the voices and experiences of the people I cared for. Every client shared something about what they needed calm mornings, unhurried routines, familiar meals, gentle companionship, and someone who truly listens. Their needs became the foundation of this agency and taught me how to show up with dignity, patience, and presence.
My caregiving journey began with Holly. She was the first person who made me see caregiving as more than a job. Before she passed, she told me, “I hope after I pass this does not scare you from doing this, because you are really good at this.” Her words stayed with me and quietly guided how I cared for others.
Then came Mary, who believed in my gift before I did. She talked about my care everywhere we went and even sketched the very first Rosa Cares logo. She was the first person to say, “You should start your own agency.” Her encouragement planted the seed but I wasn’t sure if I was ready to continue. I had seen parts of caregiving that made me question the industry and my place in it.
Everything changed when I began caring for Sobia’s mom. Through that experience, I met Sobia a strong, confident businesswoman who saw the way I cared and reminded me of my worth. She helped me see that my approach to care was needed, valued, and different. Working with her family showed me what true partnership in care looks like. Her support gave me the courage to take the leap and turn Rosa Cares into a real agency.
Rosa Cares grew from real families, real moments, and real conversations about what care should feel like. Today, I honor those clients by providing care that feels like family unhurried, respectful, and deeply human.
